
Are you looking to strengthen, realign, or simply know how to "do a yoga pose right" ?
If you are experienced or you are completely new to yoga, personal time with a teacher can really give you the confidence you need to develop a healthy home practice that suits your body's needs.
Choosing to work one-on-one with a skilled teacher can elevate your yoga practice to new heights. Develop a deeper understanding of your own unique anatomy through a supervised and teacher guided practice. Increase your awareness of meditative techniques, Pranayama or breath work techniques, break down complex pose work and alignment, and learn how your body should be engaging in each pose. Each practice is tailored to your individual needs. Your first session will include a postural analysis, during which your teacher will ask you to perform some specific poses so that areas of strength or weakness can be identified. Your first session will also include a meditative creation of a body map to help guide your future yoga sessions. A regular body map meditation can track your overall progress as you continue your yogic practice.
A healthy yoga practice can increase flexibility, balance, & strength.
As well as reduce anxiety and stress. You can improve range of motion, reduce tension and realign your bodies structural systems, aka Spine/Shoulders/Hips/Feet.
Your Yogi will bring all the necessary props including a yoga mat to your place of residence.
Props may include; Yoga Strap, Yoga Blocks, Yoga Blanket, Yoga Mat.
75 min practice, 15 min consultation, gait analysis,postural assessment and body map.
Your Yogi will briefly chat about your goals and intentions for the practice. You might be asked about areas of pain or tension or previous injuries. Your first session can be done at whatever pace you need as an individual. Your Yogi is trained in a variety of yoga modalities. Post session you will discuss where your practice might benefit or touch base on areas of strength or weakness to develop a plan for future sessions.
